The digital fiber MDAS is a multi-service distribution system that supports multi-standard and multi-carrier. It is a one-stop solution for voice and data service requirements. Compared with traditional analog distribution systems, it also has hybrid networking, delay compensation, automatic carrier tracking, and low uplink noise features.
The system is a brand-new system solution that uses the digital processing, digital optical fiber transmission and software radio technology to extend the radio frequency part of the base station and serve multiple cells. It effectively overcomes the technical defects and deficiencies of the analog fiber optic repeater. It has increasingly become a necessary choice in the process of network construction and optimization. At present, it is widely used in the optimization of wireless networks in old communities, urban villages, basements, elevators and other scenarios.
MDAS consists of three parts: MU (Main Unit), Extend Unit (EU), and Remote Unit (RU), which are used for (2G/3G/LTE) wireless. The communication signal is deeply covered, and the schematic diagram is shown below:
The digital fiber MDAS supports three networking modes: star networking, chain networking, and hybrid networking. However, under the same conditions, it is recommended to use a star network. This network has the best network performance and better data transmission quality.
A point-to-multipoint star network is supported between the access unit(main unit) and the extend unit.
A point-to-multipoint star network is supported between the extension unit and the remote unit, and one extension unit can connect 8 remote units.
One access unit (main unit ) can support 256 remote units .Loop protection is supported between EUs when the system is networked.
Star networking is recommended: 1 MU is connected to 4 EUs; the largest ensemble is 3 for one EU, 8 RUs per level, and 1 MU maximum connection does not exceed 96 RU (remote units).
